KVC Nebraska is Celebrating Social Workers During National Social Work Month
March is National Social Work Month! During this time, KVC Nebraska honors the incredible ways that our social workers, clinicians and other professionals help children, adults and families. Social work is a helping profession focused on enhancing human well-being and meeting people’s basic and complex needs, with a particular focus on those who are vulnerable, oppressed or living in poverty. No matter their specific licensure, KVC employees bring compassion, knowledge, and care that make a tremendous positive impact in hundreds of communities in the United States.
