Mike Allen
Clinical and Prevention Services Administrative Supervisor
Mike Allen
Clinical and Prevention Services Administrative Supervisor
As the youngest of nine siblings born in Miami, FL, I come from a lineage dedicated to serving others. My sister was an educator, one brother a chemical dependency counselor, and another served as Director of the Boys and Girls Club. Even my mother contributed through her work in the school cafeteria.
My journey led me to Dana College on a baseball scholarship, where I discovered my calling early on: aiding those in need. Social Work became my chosen path to reach out to “children and families” requiring assistance. While I valued my college education and the knowledge gained at Dana, it was my internship in residential treatment that solidified my career choice. What began as an internship swiftly transitioned into a job opportunity, and my unwavering dedication, loyalty, and passion fueled a 28-year PRTC career.
I am honored to continue doing what I love with KVC. I believe the people, the culture and the opportunity to grow professionally have assured me I am in the right place at the right time.
