Intensive Family Preservation
The purpose of Intensive Family Preservation (IFP) services is to stabilize and strengthen the family to prevent the removal of a child or to help reunify children who have been removed from the home. IFP is also helpful to prevent placement changes by working with alternative caregivers or foster parents to stabilize placement.
At KVC Nebraska, we use clinician-guided treatment in IFP. We also provide 24/7 crisis support, Parent Management Training, Comprehensive Treatment Plans, and a strengths-based approach.
Family and youth strengths and their needs are identified through thorough assessment and family collaboration.
Refer a family to our IFP program by contacting our Intensive In-Home Services Clinical Supervisor, Lucy Ajuoga, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 402-578-5086.
