KVC Nebraska Service Areas

At KVC Nebraska, we provide a variety of programs and services to meet the diverse needs of youth, families and adults throughout Nebraska. We offer foster care, home-based support for people with disabilities, intensive in-home preservation to keep families safely together, reunification services for families reuniting after foster care, outpatient child and family therapy, education support services for youth departing foster care, substance use evaluations and intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment to over a thousand children, families and adults every year.

We accept referrals from the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, Nebraska Juvenile Probation, and caregivers/families.

Our programs use Trauma-Informed Practices and Parent Management Training to identify and build upon the strengths of the individuals and families we support. KVC Nebraska also uses the CAFAS, Caregiver Wish List, Structured Decision-Making Tools, and Ansell Casey Life Skills Assessments to assist in identifying areas to strengthen and improve upon. Use of assessment tools may vary from program to program and family to family based on their individual service needs.
