This year, start a NEW tradition!

2020 has been everything BUT normal. Back in March, the COVID-19 pandemic rapidly changed the way we live our daily lives, and disrupted, rescheduled and even canceled normal traditions like graduation ceremonies, vacations and holiday celebrations. This upcoming holiday season will surely look different from years past, and that makes it the perfect time to begin NEW traditions!

This holiday season, start a new tradition and give back to your community with our Holiday Heroes program! Holiday Heroes can be individuals, families, churches, community organizations or businesses. This year we have an urgent need for gifts suited for youth ages 13 to 18 receiving foster care services and adults being served through our Shared Living program!

While our foster families and Shared Living providers give so much love and care to the children and individuals they serve, as well as a safe place to live, it can be difficult to provide “extra” items like presents during the holidays. Donating gifts is a great way for you to support the children and families we serve and show our very special clients that they matter.

How do I become a Holiday Hero?

There are a few ways to become a Holiday Hero! First, choose how you’d like to donate from the options below. This year, we’re offering contact-free donation options with our online donation form and an Amazon wish list. If you prefer to donate in-person, we’re also accepting new, unwrapped gifts at our offices and have strict sanitization processes in place. All in-person donations must be dropped off by Friday, December 11.

The safety of the youth, families, and clients we serve as well as our employees are our top priorities and we take COVID-19 prevention very seriously. We have developed thorough infection control and sanitization processes for all items donated to ensure we prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our communities. To allow us time to complete these processes, we must have all donated items in hand by Friday, December 11.
