In the Mandt System Training, there are several helpful verbal de-escalation tools taught that employees, foster families, and Shared Living Providers can utilize to encourage safety and connection through effective communication with individuals served, family members, co-workers, friendships, professionals, etc.
Child Passenger Safety training provides participants with hands-on instruction on installing child restraints properly, and a discussion on the importance of child passenger safety.
In this training, participants will learn the difference between attachment and bonding, the four types of attachments and the Strange Situation Procedure, how to support established attachments while supporting new attachments and demonstrate the ability to support the attachments children have, and how trauma affects the ability to attach and learn the signs of a possible attachment disorder.
