This training is required for all foster parents and EFH providers each licensure period and worth 2 CEUs.

Medication Aide training reviews safe medication management.

After this training, foster parents and EFH providers should be able to:

• Give meds in a safe, consistent manner; in a clean, sterile technique; and have medication that is clearly labeled and issued by a pharmacy or hospital
• Understand The 8 Rights of Medication Administration
• Properly store medication

Childcare is available at all trainings, but foster parents must sign-up for childcare prior to each training date. Foster Parents are required to earn 12 hours of CEUs each year of their licensing period (for a total of 24 hours per licensing period).
