This Managing Undesirable Behaviors Part 2 training is available to KVC foster parents and is worth 2 CEUs.
In this training, you will learn:

What is your parenting style

What is your goal for parenting

What type of values does your household uphold

How to slow down your parenting

What is parental resilience

Review appropriate developmental expectations

Teach parents to interact positively with children (such as showing enthusiasm and attention for good behavior and letting the child take the lead in play activities)

Increasing attention and praise for positive children’s behaviors

Positive family communication including active listening and reducing criticism and sarcasm

Family meetings to improve order and organization, and

Effective and consistent discipline including reasonable and logical consequences
