Virtual Independent Living Foster Parent Training

The Independent Living Skills training and discussion of resources class is available to KVC foster parents and is worth 1.5 CEUs. This training will be held virtually. Click here to sign up or on the button below.
Independent Living Skills training will include a discussion and explanation of the Casey Life Skills Assessment which is required yearly for all youth over 14. This assessment is what should drive independent living goals/plans for youth in foster care to help them achieve and succeed as an adult. This training will also discuss some of the resources available and encourage participants to share their resources as well.
