This Probation 101 training is available to KVC foster parents and is worth 2 CEUs.
In this training, you will learn:
- An overview of Nebraska’s juvenile probation system
- How youth are referred to probation and the role of probation officers
- What out-of-home placement and reentry planning looks like
- How probation intersects with education, disabilities and specialized services
- Best practices for supporting youth involved in the juvenile justice system
