Sensory Needs in Children and Adults Training (Lincoln, Neb.)

Learn and explore the various types of sensory input and how sensory disorders may affect an individual’s behavior and perception of the world around them. Understand how sensory input is perceived. Learn common signs of sensory perception disorders, how to find professionals to help diagnose and support your individual’s sensory needs, and simple activities you can try at home for both hyper- and hypo-sensitive individuals.

Childcare is available at all trainings, but foster parents must sign-up for childcare prior to each training date. Foster Parents are required to earn 12 hours of CEUs each year of their licensing period (for a total of 24 hours per licensing period).
