Physical Health Needs of Children in Foster Care – Virtual

Time: 5 pm – 7 pm
This Physical Health Needs of Children in Foster Care training is available to KVC foster parents and is worth 2 CEUs.
In this training, you will learn:

Children who are abused and neglected may suffer immediate physical injuries such as cuts, bruises, or broken bones.

Ongoing issues with children’s health such as asthma, diabetes, encopresis, enuresis, failure to thrive, inadequate immunization, poor dental hygiene or multiple caries, prenatal exposure to cocaine, alcohol, narcotics and shaken baby syndrome will be discussed.
