National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month
January 1, 2017 - January 31, 2017

In 2016, there were 5,748 human trafficking cases reported nationwide. During January, the country bands together to raise awareness to the fight against human trafficking for National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. January 11 is the National Human Trafficking Awareness Day with efforts for widespread social media impact and various events across the country.
