Mental Health Diagnosis and Treatment Training for KVC Foster Parents (Omaha)

This Mental Health Diagnosis and Treatment training is available to KVC foster parents and worth 2 CEUs. It will be held at KVC’s office in Omaha (11550 I Street, Suite 100, Omaha, NE 68137). Sign up by clicking here or on the button below.
In this training, you will learn:
- Know the definition and prevalence of mental illness in the United States.
- Understand the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and who can diagnose an individual or youth.
- Identify prevalent major mental illnesses, diagnoses and their symptoms.
- Be able to reference treatment and psychopharmacology options for major mental illness and other diagnoses.
