Mental Health Diagnosis and Treatment Training for KVC Foster Parents (2 CEU’s)

This training will be offered virtually.
This Mental Health Diagnosis and Treatment training is available to KVC foster parents and worth 2 CEUs. In this training, you will learn:
- Know the definition and prevalence of mental illness in the United States.
- Understand the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and who can diagnose an individual or youth.
- Identify prevalent major mental illnesses, diagnoses and their symptoms.
- Be able to reference treatment and psychopharmacology options for major mental illness and other diagnoses.
