This training reviews safe medication management. After this training, providers should be able to give meds in a safe, consistent manner, in a clean, sterile technique, and have medication that is clearly labeled and issued by a pharmacy or hospital. The 8 Rights of Medication Administration are defined and discussed. Proper storing of medication is discussed and examples given. A review of KVC Policy is given, and expectations for providers are defined.
