Virtual Crisis Management Training for Foster Parents

This training is available to foster parents and is worth 2 CEUs. This training will be held virtually, for information on how to participate, please email Morgan Emmert at memmert@kvc.org.
Crisis Management training provides foster parents with definitions of what constitutes a crisis, what to do in a crisis (responses, paperwork, notifications), and how to successfully keep kids safe throughout a crisis situation.
Objectives:
- Define a Crisis and Critical Incident.
- Understand different incident types.
- Understand the importance of monitoring incidents for The Joint Commission (TJC).
- Understand Critical Incident notification process.
- Discuss Suicide and Self-Harm Incidents.
- Discuss Mandatory Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting
