Foster Parent Training

This training defines and discusses the concept of concurrent planning, as well as who is responsible for carrying out concurrent planning during a case.  The Adoption and Safe Families Act (ASFA) and the Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoptions Act, as well as the expectations from each act, are discussed.  Barriers to concurrent planning, and tools to implement concurrent planning and make it successful are defined.  This training allows foster parents to better understand the importance of concurrent planning and why it must be used. 1 CEUs.
