Child Passenger Safety Training (Lincoln) – 2 CEUs

This Child Passenger Safety training is available to KVC foster parents and worth 2 CEUs. It will be held at KVC’s Lincoln office (5001 Central Park Drive, Suite 100, Lincoln, NE 68504). Sign up here.
Child Passenger Safety training provides participants with hands-on instruction on installing child restraints properly, and a discussion on the importance of child passenger safety.
Objectives:
- Hands-on practice with properly installing a child safety seat.
- Understand the importance of checking the crash history of child safety seats.
- Learn to check a child safety seat label and determine appropriateness for each particular child.
- Understand the difference between forward-facing and rear-facing child safety seats, and when to use each type.
