The Beauty Is Skin Deep program has been designed to assist young women of color, ages 13-18, in creating and maintaining a healthy self-perception of themselves. Classes focus on:
- The value of self worth
- How to love your inner and outer self
- How to appreciate and accept cultural and social differences and media influences
- The importance of positive self-image, perception, and esteem
