2018 Resource Family Conference

Joins us for KVC Nebraska’s 2018 Resource Family Conference! In the past, this unique conference was only available to KVC licensed foster parents and KVC certified extended family home providers. Now, the conference is open to all foster parents, extended family home providers, and industry professionals in Nebraska.
Attendees learn from nationally renowned experts, receive continuing education, and network with other resource families in the area to create an invaluable support network.

Keynote Speaker: Josh Shipp
Dubbed the “Teen Whisperer” and a published author, global youth empowerment expert, modern self-help guru and acclaimed speaker, Shipp offers up practical strategies, laugh-out-loud humor, and heartfelt inspiration to drive change in teens and adults.
Shipp spent time in foster care and went on to become a youth advocate. He shares his own experience to help adults understand kids and kids understand themselves. Shipp is renowned for his documentary TV series on A&E that followed his groundbreaking work with teens.
