SUMMARY:Child Passenger Safety Training for Foster Parents
DESCRIPTION:This training is available to foster parents and worth 1.5 CEUs. \nChild Passenger Safety training provides participants with hands-on instruction on installing child restraints properly\, and a discussion on the importance of child passenger safety. \nObjectives: \n\nHands-on practice with properly installing a child safety seat.\nUnderstand the importance of checking the crash history of child safety seats.\nLearn to check a child safety seat label and determine appropriateness for each particular child.\nUnderstand the difference between forward-facing and rear-facing child safety seats\, and when to use each type.\n\nChildcare is available at all trainings and foster parents must sign-up for childcare prior to each training date.
