In the Mandt System Training\, there are several helpful verbal de-escalation tools taught that employees\, foster families\, and extended family home providers can utilize to encourage safety and connection through effective communication with individuals served\, family members\, co-workers\, friendships\, professionals\, etc. \nThe Mandt System trains R.A.D.A.R. as a way to help individuals effectively assess what is going on inside of them\, with the people around them\, and their environment to impact their decision-making skills and decide to act in a helpful way\, instead of depending only on their reactions to the situation.
