Thank you for volunteering at the 2018 Resource Family Conference! Without people like you donating your time and energy to this event, we wouldn’t be able to provide this one-of-a-kind training and networking opportunity to Nebraska foster families, extended family home providers, and clients. We expect about 175 adults and 250 kids to attend our event.

Below is a video that will provide you with some important information about this year’s Resource Family Conference, including what time and where to arrive Saturday morning.

Overview of the Resource Family Conference:

• Location: Cornhusker Marriott ­ Lincoln NE
• Arrive at 6:45 am Saturday, December 1
  • Park in the Carriage Garage at 1128 L St.
  • Breakfast will be served (until 7:30 am) – we’ll hand out childcare assignments and make a few important announcements
• Dress comfortably (jeans and tennis shoes) – we’ll provide you with a t-shirt to wear for the day
• A KVC employee will be at the volunteer check-in table to validate your parking
• For those of you leaving the hotel (with kids age 5-18),­ buses arrive at 8:30 am (east side of the hotel) and pizza and goodies will be provided
• Those of you staying at the hotel (with kids 0-4), lunch will be Firehouse Subs, chips and cookies
• You will be divided into age groups with a color specification on your name tag
• Each group will have a leader who will be easily identifiable (leaders indicated below)
