DESCRIPTION:This training is available to Shared Living providers. \nThis course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid\, breathing\, and cardiac emergencies involving adults\, children\, and infants. This training meets OSHA/workplace requirements. \nThis is a blended learning course including an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection. Sign up by clicking here or on the button below. \nTraining Description:  \nAt KVC Nebraska\, we believe children and families can grow by experiencing healthy relationships. In the Mandt System Training\, there are several helpful verbal de-escalation tools taught that employees\, foster families\, and Shared Living Providers can utilize to encourage safety and connection through effective communication with individuals served\, family members\, co-workers\, friendships\, professionals\, etc. \nThe Mandt System trains R.A.D.A.R. as a way to help individuals effectively assess what is going on inside of them\, with the people around them\, and their environment to impact their decision-making skills and decide to act in a helpful way\, instead of depending only on their reactions to the situation.
