DESCRIPTION:8 week course beginning Monday April 6\, 2015 and ending Monday May 25\, 2015.  Each class runs once a week on Monday nights from 6pm – 9pm \nPS-MAPP assists KVC in addressing the six federal family and children services review outcomes by addressing them with prospective foster and adoptive parents: \n\nIncidence of child abuse and neglect in foster care\nRecurrence of  maltreatment\nFoster care reentries\nLength of time to achieve reunification\nLength of time to achieve adoption\, and\nStability of foster care placement.\n\nThe goal of the PS-MAPP program is to enable foster families to achieve the following core competencies: \n\nFoster and foster/adoptive parents will be able to meet the developmental and wellbeing needs of children and youth coming into foster care\, or being adopted through foster care;\nFoster and foster/adoptive parents will be able to meet the safety needs of children and youth coming into foster care\, or being adopted through foster care;\nFoster parents will be able to share parenting with a child’s family;\nFoster parents will be able to support concurrent planning for permanency; and\,\nFoster and foster/adoptive parents will be able to meet their family’s needs in ways that assure a child’s safety and wellbeing.\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Registration begins at 8:30am | Shotgun start at 9:30am \n18 foursome teams (72 golfers total)\nThornridge Golf Course (801 South “D” Street\, Milford\, NE) \nCalling all golfers!  Everyone wants a chance to play one of the best 9 hole layouts in Nebraska! \nThornridge is a two-level layout and named after the thorn trees found throughout the course.  Five holes lie on the lower level\, one on the upper level and four holes are bi-level.  A winding creek crosses four fairways. The creek is overgrown with wildflowers and long grass. Some of the rough is seeded\, but much of it has been left natural. \nGolfers will enjoy 18 holes of golf\, a golf cart\, gifts\, prizes and lunch. \nIndividual and team registrations are SOLD OUT!
