DESCRIPTION:This Safety & Connection through Effective Communication training is available to prospective foster parents and licensed KVC foster parents. It is worth 2.5 CEUs. Sign up by clicking here or on the button below. \nTraining Description:  \nAt KVC Nebraska\, we believe children and families can grow by experiencing healthy relationships. In the Mandt System Training\, there are several helpful verbal de-escalation tools taught that employees\, foster families\, and Shared Living Providers can utilize to encourage safety and connection through effective communication with individuals served\, family members\, co-workers\, friendships\, professionals\, etc. \nThe Mandt System trains R.A.D.A.R. as a way to help individuals effectively assess what is going on inside of them\, with the people around them\, and their environment to impact their decision-making skills and decide to act in a helpful way\, instead of depending only on their reactions to the situation.
